Hi, there! Some of you reading my blog today will be brand new, and just came from the Ultimate Blog Party. How fun is that whole thing??? Who ever thought that a party online for women bloggers could be more fun than a real-life party? To be honest... sitting here with a glass of wine, in my robe and slippers, eating some Triscuits and hanging out on my laptop is more than enough party for me these days. (LOL -- okay, let's all stand up and shout in unison: "DORK"!!!) Ha-ha...

Anyway, I am a 30-something who lives in suburban Detroit. I am a Christian blogger. But I was born and raised Muslim, and then turned atheist in my 20s. Isn't that crazy? You'll find several posts in here about my faith. I married again for the second time last spring, and am absolutely in love with my hubby. We have no children, and I've blogged about that somewhere in here as well. I also love genealogy... libraries... photos... nature... organics... and books. Feel free to browse my tags if you like.

I'm a transplanted Michigander currently living in Phoenix. I grew up in Metro Detroit and miss it sometimes (but not when there's 12" of snow on the ground). My hubby's family is Mormon and Atheist, so I understand about the cross religion thing.

What an interesting background you have. I bet it throws a lot of people for a loop. We're orginally Michiganders, but now, we go wherever the Marine Corps sends us. lol! I have to admit that I'm not missing the bitter cold weather.
