I'm Baaaack!

Posted

The Lord works in mysterious ways. For those of you who didn't know, I've been keeping a "secret" blog. One that is all about Christ, Christianity and everything/anything that might pertain to it.

I've been struggling with it, though. I haven't been able to figure out what God wants me to write versus what I think people need/want to read. I come to the conclusion (always) that I need to be still and listen. Pray.

And so, for over a week now (during our wonderful, relaxing vacation in New England), I came to the urging that I need to go back to my old blog. God doesn't speak to me directly, of course. But I hear Him through my conscience. My own spirit is meshed with that of the Holy Spirit. So when the the little nagging voice says, "You should go back to your old blog," I have to consider it. I prayed and prayed, and the urge kept getting stronger.

I won't blog about family -- I won't even mention one thing. Yet I am making it clear up front that this is a Christian blog. A conservative Christian blog. In the upcoming days/weeks/months, I will be posting my thoughts, views and opinions about news, Bible verses, end-time signs, politics, prayer and more. If you don't like what I'm saying, then you have two choices: 1) Don't read - move on and go read other blogs or 2) Tactfully present your opposing viewpoint in a comment so that we can debate. Anything else that is posted which just spews venom towards my words will be deleted. I detest Obama (he's going to seriously be bad news for our country if he gets elected, although I'm not thrilled with McCain either)... the whole homosexual marriage thing in CA is disgusting (I know/like several gay people -- but it's absolutely wrong to condone the legal marriage of homosexuals)... the "healing" faith outpouring in FL is concerning to me... the Oprah/Eckhart Tolle thing is a true example of false prophets... the Vatican is supporting some disturbing views... tensions in Iran are scary... the U.S. economy and severe weather patterns are more than just coincidence...

...and we just need to get back to the basics. Christ and Scripture. God. Prayer. Core fundamentals and beliefs. Morals. Values. The Ten Commandments.

Lurk, read, comment, whatever. I'm back, and I'm back with a vengeance. God handed me a sword, and is urging me to step back out and help Him fight His battle. Satan has completely taken over this earth, and people all over the world are getting lured into the evil.

Remember Goonies? "This is our time!" I feel that way right now. Look out. Christians, let's band together and stand firm. This is our time, and I don't intend on hiding in the shadows. Bookmark me, and stay tuned...

I'm standing with you Maria!

I am SO 100% in agreement with you too on all that you said... especially about Obama, homosexual "marriage," Oprah's "new religion," etc. This world is falling apart... definitely experiencing the "birthing pains" prophesied in the Bible about end times (Matthew 24). It's very very interesting. I never thought that I might really live through the ends times or even be able to see them coming... it is indescribable.

Welcome back to your blog! I am so excited! :) God bless!!!

Could you also from time to time write on new lush products? I have yet to try them but plan to soon. I am glad to have you back on "Jubilee". God does speak to us and sometimes quite loudly!

Nice to see you back. Although I may not agree with everything you have to say, I will defend your right to say it and respect your courage in convictions.

Hey! Nice to see you back and blogging...and I'm glad I didn't delete you from my favorites when you stopped blogging!

I do enjoy your blogs...and will read diligently.

Probably won't comment much...not all educated about Christianity like you are...so not much to add and debate you with.

So, welcome back! I missed you!
